Acknowledging Youths objective is to raise young people’s aspirations as well as making a positive contribution to developing their opportunity to succeed and the lives of young adults primarily to those who come from a disadvantaged background
We want to see a positive socioeconomic impact on the communities we work in, allowing young people to break the cycles of poverty and social exclusion by understanding what causes them and what they can do to change it.
We firmly believe students are best served by activity-based learning, applying and practising skills, reinforced by guided reflection rather than through introducing external assessment and grading for the purposes of headline performance measures.
We believe we can challenge companies across the UK by shining a light on employers that are working ethically and are addressing the systemic racial inequalities within hiring and promotion practices.
We look to bridge the gap between ethical companies with strong corporate responsibility concerns and young people and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds who without positive direction will remain out of work and vulnerable to those who seek to disable a positive society.
In being a resource for information, providing individually relevant training and one on one mentoring, we empower this next generation of workers to overcome the barriers that they face in finding and staying in employment.
Alongside offering hard skills and development opportunities, we are delivering activities that recognise and attending to the improvement of inner well-being and mental health.
We deliver online and classroom-based training, workshops and one on one mentoring in unique learning environments to help young people and adults seek out a career path and to find meaningful work.
We provide workshops and classes to develop skills such as CV writing and interview techniques alongside social, music and educational projects to raise aspirations and identify and develop individual opportunities to succeed.
We are adaptable. In the wake of Covid-19, we will be providing specialist focus on money management, furloughed workers and redundancies due to the pandemic. As well as inner well-being and mental health.
We offer opportunities to volunteer with us for work experience and establish relationships with ethical companies with strong corporate responsibility, with the prospect of taking up employment.
We have a partnership and are registered with ASDAN, an established charitable organization with awarding body status that provides courses, training and apprenticeships programmes.
We aim to continue work closely with London trusts and the DWP to deliver education and training that actively gets people into work.
We have established particularly strong working relationships through successful long-term projects with Westminster, Tower Hamlets and Southwark boroughs.
We focus on improving career aspirations and encourage participation in activities which improve connectedness, wellbeing, and identification of opportunities for the purpose of building a stronger and more engaged working genera

THE FUNDRAISING PROMISE
This promise outlines the commitment made to donors and the public by fundraising organisations which register with the Fundraising Regulator.
Those who register with the regulator agree to ensure their fundraising is legal, open, honest and respectful.

We will monitor fundraisers, volunteers and third parties working with us to raise funds, to ensure that they comply with the Code of Fundraising Practice and with this Promise.
We will comply with the law as it applies to charities and fundraising.
We will display the Fundraising Regulator badge on our fundraising material to show we are committed to good practice.
WE WILL BE CLEAR, HONEST & OPEN
We will tell the truth and we will not exaggerate.
We will do what we say we are going to do with donations we receive.
We will be clear about who we are and what we do.
We will give a clear explanation of how you can make a gift and change a regular donation.
Where we ask a third party to fundraise on our behalf, we will make this relationship and the financial arrangement transparent.
We will be able to explain our fundraising costs and show how they are in the best interests of our cause if challenged.
We will ensure our complaints process is clear and easily accessible.
We will provide clear and evidence based reasons for our decisions on complaints.

We will respect your rights and privacy.
We will not put undue pressure on you to make a gift. If you do not want to give or wish to cease giving, we will respect your decision.

If you are unhappy with anything we’ve done whilst fundraising, you can contact us to make a complaint.
We will listen to feedback and respond appropriately to compliments and criticism we receive.
We will have a complaints procedure, a copy of which will be available on our website or available on request.
Our complaints procedure will let you know how to contact the Fundraising Regulator in the event that you feel our response is unsatisfactory.
We will monitor and record the number of complaints we receive each year and share this data with the Fundraising Regulator on request.
